Enequi has appointed Håkan Svärd as its new CEO. He will replace Vladimir Vujic, who will become CTO of the company. In addition to his role as Sales Director at Enequi, Håkan Svärd has extensive industry experience from Enequi’s subsidiary Gycom and is therefore familiar with the organisation and the successful technology.
The cleantech sector is growing rapidly, and Enequi’s energy storage and control solutions for properties are highly attractive.
“I am very pleased that Håkan Svärd is taking over the CEO role in this exciting company”, says Lars Fredriksson, Chairman of the board at Enequi. “We are also very satisfied with the work that Vladimir Vujic has accomplished during his time as CEO of the company. However, for family reasons, Vladimir has chosen to step into the role of CTO instead”.
In addition to 20 years of experience at Enequi and its subsidiary Gycom, Håkan Svärd has a background as Marketing Manager at Elektroskandia. This will prove valuable when it comes to building up the international organisation. Håkan is based at Enequi’s head office in Sollentuna, Stockholm.
“It is an exciting challenge. The opportunities for growth are great, and we already have several international partners with whom we are in close dialogue”, says Håkan Svärd. “Sustainability and energy efficiency is something that I find very important. In this new role, the opportunities to make a difference both in Sweden and globally together with the Enequi team will increase”.
The role as chief technology officer is not new for Vladimir Vujic, who will continue to lead the company’s product development as CTO based at Enequi’s technology development centre in Gothenburg.
“This is the first time in a long time that I will be able to focus dedicatedly on product and system development”, says Vladimir. “The growth journey has really taken off for Enequi, and the company needs a CEO in Stockholm who can be there for the team and other stakeholders on a daily basis. I am very happy for Håkan and that we were able to resolve the change of CEO in a smooth way for both the company and me personally”.
